Matthieu Blazy, the creative director of luxury fashion brand Bottega Veneta, recently shared an Instagram post featuring K-pop idol RM with the brand’s Andiamo bag, as part of Bottega Veneta’s new Spring/Summer 2023 campaign.
Blazy tagged RM in the photo and wrote, “Welcome to the family”, but it is unclear whether RM will become an official ambassador for the brand, as other BTS members like Jimin and J-Hope already represent brands such as Tiffany & Co. and Louis Vuitton.
This is not the first time RM has interacted with Bottega Veneta. In an interview with Spanish publication El País earlier this month, the K-pop idol discussed his admiration for the brand, saying that they are different from other brands and are “beyond the buzz”. He was also spotted in the front row at the brand’s Fall 2023 show during Milan Fashion Week in February and had been gifted an Andiamo bag from the fashion house just days before the show.
Meanwhile, another BTS member, Jungkook, was recently announced as the new global ambassador for Calvin Klein, releasing his first campaign for the brand as part of its Spring 2023 collection.
