Jimin - Kinetic Manifesto

Jimin was born on October 13, 1995, in Busan, South Korea (full name: Park Jimin). One of the main dancers for the group, he majored in dance while a high school student.

Jimin was the last member of BTS, joining the group in 2013. He didn’t have any ambition to be a part of BTS. “When I first joined BigHit as a trainee I didn’t think that BTS was the right fit” Jimin said. He has said that it was because of Suga that he developed an interest in being a part of the group.

In the beginning of January 2023 Dior introduced Jimin as their brand’s new worldwide spokesperson. On Instagram, Jimin shared his excitement over the news, writing, “So thrilled to start a journey with @Dior!” “Honored to be Dior’s Global Ambassador, stay tuned for a lot of stuff to come!”

On March 24th 2023, he released his debut solo record, “Face.” With a pre-release single “Set Me Free, Pt.2,” that he used to tease the album. Six of the tracks on the album are dance-oriented, including “Like Crazy,” “Face-Off,” and others, three tracks on the album were written by RM.
