On December 13th 2022 Jin Enlisted into the Korean military. BTS was formed more than ten years ago, and since then, the group has achieved enormous success abroad, shattered records, and propelled K-Pop to new heights.
Countdown to Jin’s Return
BIGHIT MUSIC has concentrated on this historic time—the present—when it is feasible to honor national needs and allow these healthy young men to serve alongside their compatriots. When Jin finishes his solo release schedule at the end of October, he will start the procedure. He will then adhere to the Korean government’s recruitment process. The other group members intend to serve in the military according to their own personal schedules.
“Jin will initiate the process as soon as his schedule for his solo release is concluded at the end of October. Other members plan to carry out their military service based on their own individual plans. The BTS members and BIGHIT look forward to “reconvening as a group again around 2025 following their service commitment.”
