Suga was born on March 9th, 1993
Min Yoon-gi, born on March 9, 1993, in Daegu, South Korea, is the younger of two sons. He attended Taejeon Elementary School, Gwaneum Middle School, and Apgujeong High School. He belongs to the Yeoheung Min clan.
Better known by his stage name Suga, joined BTS after being recruited by Big Hit Entertainment through a rap competition called “Hit It,” which he participated in while he was still in high school. Initially, Suga had aspirations of becoming a music producer, but the agency saw potential in him as a performer as well. He joined Big Hit Entertainment in 2010 as a trainee and spent several years honing his skills in rap, dance, and production. Despite his initial reluctance to be in the spotlight as an idol, Suga debuted as a member of BTS in June 2013, where he has since become known for his powerful rap style, emotional lyrics, and contributions to the group’s music production.
