Growing up in Busan, Jimin developed a deep passion for dance at a young age, studying contemporary dance and excelling in it during his time at the Busan High School of Arts. His dedication to his craft eventually led him to move to Seoul, where he joined Big Hit Entertainment as a trainee.

In BTS, Jimin holds the roles of main dancer and lead vocalist, making him an integral part of the group’s performances. His dance skills are characterized by a unique blend of power and grace, often leaving a lasting impact on audiences with his expressive movements.
